Computer Doctors of Maine, Inc.  has been accepted to join the Electronic Data Extraction Network. We are the first, and only, member in Maine.   Our role is to assist clients by securing, extracting and processing electronic files for use in investigations and litigation. We provide technically and legally informed service, consultation and expert testimony to law firms, governments, corporations and private parties.

The Electronic Data Extraction Network is a national community of professionals working in a wide range of e-discovery related industries, including information technology, law enforcement, legal services and government groups.  EDEN offers experienced, tested, standardized computer forensics and electronic discovery support to a wide range of corporate and government clients.

Our partnership is mainly focused on data extraction and forensics.  For example, we can image electronic media, such as hard disk drives in desktop and laptop computers, mobile telephones, PDAs, thumb/flash drives and other external devices. “Imaging” media includes preparing bit-for-bit forensic images of the data, which retains all deleted and slack/free space as well as all sensitive metadata. In addition, Computer Doctors of Maine, Inc. is available to extract select electronic data from a variety of sources, including file servers, email servers and workstation computers. We use the highest level of forensic hardware and software to retain important metadata.
